As many of you are aware of spammers have been flooding AARSS.com with links to their sites with the sole purpose of increasing their rankings on various search engines. AARSS.com takes abuse very seriously and has designed and implemented an auto detect system that blocks certain websites from being displayed on AARSS.com. After several suggestions by it's users, AARSS.com has decided to release the arguements/switches which are used to change the way your news is displayed. They are:
thet=no - Disables the title of each article.
thei=no - Disables an image from of each articles description.
theo=no - Disables the creator name/owner of the feed.
thed=no - Disables the description from each article.
thes=on - Enables support for javascript include.
thex=5 - Will display 5 articles.
them=3 - Will display the third article.

AARSS Teaches The News Industry a Few Things

In an online meeting with AARSS.com Board Members, and several representatives from a few major news publishers, AA RSS proved the importance of news for it's users and showed how news can be handled with ease by it's news parser. With this demonstration came the question about the speed and reliability of AA RSS versus the cost of parsers hosted on other sites, being used by some news organizations. AA RSS proved to be the fastest, most cost effective news aggregator on the market, with a price of $0.00, much lower than any other news aggregator. Many companies have changed the way they display their own news feeds, and now use AARSS.com as their only aggregator source.

A database administator for an online book store states "Some companies charge a few hundred dollars for their news generator software which does the same thing as the free one on AARSS.com. Great product.". We agree, it's great and easy to use, and it does cost quite a bit of money to download someone elses product to create news feeds. Why would you?

While the AARSS.com news aggregator is free to use for adding news contents on websites, AARSS.com offers a member area where members can view the news through the AARSS.com website thus making up to the minute news possible. At the start of this free to use service AARSS.com realized the usefullness of it, but also saw a downside because of the multiple RSS Readers available for users to download, however a free service with speed is what attracts many users, and we would like to say thank you to them all.
