Hi Paul,
Sure,
Refer to attachments.
For attachment 1, this is basically to highlight supplier pending NG items that affects texturing schedule due to Cavity side NG.
So far, its all a simple fix, which changing the tolerance from 0.13 to 0.5, but,
I am not aware if there are any outline tolerance agreed by Zebra previously. I cant seem to find any MO drawing shared to zebra(if there is) that highlights product size tolerance.
If it falls within what was agreed, it shouldn’t be a problem.( I apologize, I may have missed out or not received any information on this)
Additionally, we need the confirmation on the packaging. Kyle already asked Zebra previously but have not received confirmation.
For attachment 2, it is just for your reference only. Those are items that I have previously highlighted to Kyle & Justin.
Let me know if there are any questions.
Thank you.
Best regards,

Arfan or Justin,
Can one of you please compile all mechanical topics into a single .ppt that we can submit to the customer Zebra for their approval?
Currently it’s a bunch of emails that may result in missed details.
Thanks

Paul

Subject: RE: RE: trial for L000121-01 Injection molded PC Radome
Hi team,
Based on excel file, here are my summary of the rejected spec items.
Category
Item Number
Remark
Countermeasure
IP
12,22,37,51,53,55
-Item here may directly influence Ingress protection.
-Able to test water ingression of remaining sample parts(6 left)
-To receive base plate without connector holes by this week.
-Will mount the radome, gasket and base plate and test for IP6X.
Assembly
33,44,46,59
-No issue on assembly so far
-Perhaps need to further study which are unnecessary dimensions to be removed and which are crucial for fitting.
Cavity
3,6,29,31,40
-Need customer confirmation
If cavity out of specs, we must not texture.
Gate
20
-Samples receive already follow Rev C
-Does zebra has any comments on the appearance?
For Texture GO, our priority should be on the cavity NG items first.
We may need customer confirmation on the acceptance level on those items.
Thank you,
Best regards,
