MultiVersus announces new costumes, modes and more coming to Season 1 including LeBron James as Robin
Bugs gets to be a Valkyrie too
After what appeared to be a very successful open beta launch, Warner Bros. made the surprise announcement that they were delaying the release of the game's Season 1 content earlier this week, but now we can get a taste of what exactly the first big update will entail.
During their Evo 2022 side tournament, MultiVersus showed off the new modes, costumes and more that'll be coming alongside Rick & Morty in Season 1's roadmap.
It's not confirmed as of yet if these are the only new pieces of content on the way, but WB revealed a Robin costume for LeBron James and Valkyrie Brünnhilde for Bugs Bunny plus additional banners and icons.
Competitive players will also be happy to learn that Ranked Mode is officially dropping in Season 1, and there's a Classic Arcade Mode on the way too — but what that entails hasn't been shown yet.

Season 1 for MVS was originally supposed to launch sometime this month in August with new character Rick, but the developers promise an update of when the update is dropping "very soon."
That may be as soon as the end of the Evo tournament for MultiVersus tonight, so we'll update this story if / when more information is revealed.
