A McDonald’s customer unsatisfied with her slushie attacked two employees during a profanity-laced tirade that ended only when one fed-up worker fought back, shocking video shows.
A 3-minute clip posted on Facebook Monday shows the irate fast-food guest storming behind a counter at the Ravenna, Ohio, eatery and getting physical after demanding that they make her one of the beverages with “all three flavors” mixed together.
“Are you f–king crazy?” one employee asks the woman, identified in reports as Cherysse Helena Cleveland. “Don’t touch me! Do not touch me, I’ll destroy you!”
An undeterred Cleveland then dared the two female employees to call police before landing a right-hand haymaker to the manager’s head, the footage shows.
The manager told Cleveland to leave, but she refused and then walked back behind the counter, where she briefly explained her actions when asked what was wrong, according to the wild clip.
“Sorry, I have been up all day,” Cleveland tells the employees. “I’m sorry.”
The split-second break in the in-store attack then ended as Cleveland ripped off the mask of one employee and tossed items off a counter.
“She can put you in jail,” the worker tells Cleveland. “She’s got you on video, you assaulted her and me. You hit me and her — you could go to prison.”
With a cup in hand, Cleveland proceeded to walk to the restaurant’s soft drink machine, where she partially made a beverage for herself before heading back behind counter in hopes of reaching the slushie machine, the clip shows.
But the devoted employee wasn’t having it, cutting off Cleveland and taking her to the floor, where she repeatedly pummeled the do-it-yourself patron in the face while saying, “Don’t f–king hit me, bitch!”
Cleveland urges other people in the McDonald’s to call police before making another run at the employees, according to the clip, which ends as cops put her in handcuffs.
Cleveland, 44, was later charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault, WKYC reported. She appeared before a judge in a Portage County court Tuesday, where her bond was set at $1,000, WOIO reported.
A judge also reportedly ordered her not to go back to the McDonald’s or to have contact with the employees involved in her epic meltdown.
A message seeking comment from McDonald’s was not immediately returned Wednesday.
The quick-witted customer who filmed the attack, meanwhile, said the conflict started after Cleveland insisted on getting a slushie with “all three flavors” mixed into one drink.
“If I was in their shoes, I wouldn’t have been able to show the restraint they did,” Brian Allen told WOIO. “You can see from the video that several times, not just once, she physically assaults and or pushes them. And they don’t do anything except for to try and protect themselves.”
