Walmart is turning 10 of its Arkansas store parking lots into drive-in movie theaters starting in September. The store announced last month that the experience will run nationwide through October and include more than 300 showings.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, drive-in theaters have been making a comeback as many theaters have had to close.

The retail chain said the family-friendly nights will include hit movies, special appearances from filmmakers and celebrities, and concessions delivered to customers in their vehicles.

The Arkansas locations include stores in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Cabot, and Bryant. Currently, all tickets are sold out, but according to Walmart's website, you can check back for additional events.

The drive-in movie experience is free to Walmart customers. Customers can reserve a space at the drive-in by visiting TheWalmartDriveIn.com. Walmart is partnering with Tribeca Enterprises for the films.

FM radio is required for audio and masks are required if you get out of your vehicle.
