OMB Peezy Arrested Over Shooting on Set of Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg Music Video

The rapper was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime

OMB Peezy was arrested on Monday, March 1 in connection with a shooting in Atlanta that occurred during the filming of a Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg music video, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed. Bond has been set for $60,000. When reached by Pitchfork, OMB Peezy’s representative offered no comment.

The shooting occurred on Sunday, February 21 at 598 Wells Street. Police said that three men who sustained injuries at the scene were in stable condition. Only one person was arrested at the scene and charged with drug possession, which was unrelated to the shooting.

Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were not injured in the incident. “aint nobody shoot at me,” Roddy Ricch tweeted on Monday, February 22. “we all good. im juss tryna feed the streets.” 42 Dugg addressed the incident in an Instagram Live conversation with Lil Baby: “Real talk we all good, man,” he said. 

OMB Peezy is scheduled to release a new album called Too Deep for Tears this Friday, March 3.
